Our Youth programme allows athletes to commit to regular training sessions in most of the track and field disciplines.
WLTF Youth squads allows athletes to develop their skills in sprints, hurdles, long jump, high jump and pole vault. The focus is on exploring techniques and understanding the “why” to all our training sessions. We encourage all our Youth Squad members to compete so they experience the highs and lows of competition, providing a great learning environment for the athletes, coaches and parents.
Our Youth squads provide sessions for athletes aged 12 - 18 years. These sessions are for athletes willing to commit to training regularly once or twice a week.
Youth Squad Training Times
Sprints - Monday 6pm, Wednesday 6pm & Saturday 9am
Hurdles - Saturday 10am
Long Jump - Monday 5pm
High Jump - Saturday 9am
Pole Vault - Saturday 10am; Tuesday 5pm
